What do you hear?

Horns honking to shove, microwave beeping hunger
Phones clamoring attention, telly trying to tell a story
Metallic music mingling, dogs barking up no tree
Fans creaking old age, a motorcycle imitating an epicenter
A mill machine whining, a siren smoldering
Beeps and ingratiating honks
Like a cement mixture in your brain.

These sounds of everyday life are like
The pitter-patter, the mellow wind, the gurgling stream
To the uncivilized ears.
