Pretty Picture

Once upon a time, there was a painting on the wall.
'It is pretty, charming and becoming'
The ears of the walls heard them all.

The painting fumed in the glow of the lamp
'Can't they see the tears of the artist?
Which has made the flowers smudge and damp?

My canvas is pain, suffering and sadness
To paint a pretty picture of a lie

Oh!Don't they know?

There is more to the world than that meets the eye?'

@Van Gogh: I was about to ask if it was you are the painter and if there was something more, about you, than that meets the eye. :-p).. i.e until i read it was Vangogh's painting..
That brings me to one of my Fav. song titled "Vincent-starry night" by Don Mclean.. it was a great tribute to Vincent Van gogh.. If u havent listended to it, may be u shuld.
