The Half Glass Empty

This is like noticing my dark shadow on a bright sunny day..
This is like noticing the worm peeping out of the fresh bouquet of lovely roses..
This is like noticing the stray strand of wool from my sweater...

In a perfectly beautiful place like Norway, I seem to miss the smells coming from my kitchen, the thrill of the breeze from the beach and a person whom I can have meaningful conversation with.

@neelam..This is the famous poem which I thought had new meaning when I read it yesterday -
...If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
and no homesickness.., just missing something as simple as meaningful conversations!
