A tale of a cup of coffee and the sea

With the cold air brushing through my hair and the waves rocking the ship like a cradle, I sat watching my first sunset by the sea. Watching the red clouds which shone like smouldering iron. Watching the blue sea which shimmered with life. Watching the sun getting swallowed by the ocean. Watching my cup of coffee warming my benumbed hands.

And then,I stopped thinking and was just glad that I existed.

So I sat waiting for the sunset to engulf me.Poignant. Awestruck.Alone.
Happy.
